Delivery Driver (Experienced) : Job Description

Jackie Leonard & Sons (est 1892) have been supplying Dublin's hospitality, education, nursing homes and commercial office sector for 130 years. We are looking for a experienced delivery driver who is passionate about customer satisfaction and transporting fresh fruit & vegetables in a safe, timely manner. The delivery driver will pick their own customer items, pack and deliver while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the picking & delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client - Monday to Friday.

You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients.

Jackie Leonard: Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Genuine passion for quality fresh produce and working for an ethical business. * Understand, and able to deliver exceptional customer service.

• Identifying and picking fresh fruit & vegetables correctly. Loading, transporting, and delivering items to hospitality clients & businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, invoices and delivered items are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Accepting payments for delivered items.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Preparing summaries and other documents relating to deliveries.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Several years experience in food service HORECA business / Fruit & vegetable experience with minimum 3-year experience in a similar role
• Valid Full Irish Driver's & Clean driving record.
• Experienced Drivers Only need apply

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €12.00-€13.00 per hour
