Freedom Welding and Fabrication LLC is looking for a Driver with at least a class B CDL to help with the growing demands for local customer pickups and deliveries. Most deliveries are within St. Charles and Lincoln County, with occasional deliveries to St. Louis County.

General Responsibilities include driving, picking up, and delivering parts within Saint Charles, Lincoln, and St. Louis County areas to our customer and vendor partners. This position includes the loading and securing of loads as well as handling the necessary paperwork related to the shipping and receiving of loads. Loading and unloading will require the use of Forklifts, overhead hoists, pallet jacks, and the ability to handle materials of up to 60Lbs. You will use many different types of material when packaging or loading parts to prepare the products for shipping.

You will be driving and must have experience with 3500 and 5500 16 ft flatbed trucks and pulling 30 to 40 ft gooseneck trailers. You will be responsible to maintain vehicle records, including routine maintenance, and for keeping inventories of all equipment needed and stored in the vehicles. You will also be responsible for providing mileage and receipts for all vehicle-related purchases per our company policies.

When not driving, you will be assisting in other areas of the shop, including but not limited to equipment maintenance, material handling, inventory management, and material processing. Some of these activities may include using grinders and other processing tools. The ability to read basic blueprints is a plus and may allow for an expanded role within our material processing department.

Applicant must have at least a 24 month clean driving record.

· Other duties may be assigned as necessary based on availability and need.

· Performs all work in accordance with established safety and quality program procedures and directives.

· Maintain all records required by the company.

· Regular attendance and compliance with all Company policies and rules are essential.

· Overtime, including potential weekend shifts, may be required in rare circumstances.

· Lifting Frequency Occasionally Sitting or standing for extended periods of time. discussed for qualifying employees.
