HireWorks is partnered with an industrial water treatment company who has an opening for a product delivery specialist/service technician. The position entails delivering products from the centralized DFW warehouse to customer locations in the metroplex.

*The delivery specialist will be a representative of the company brand; this will require frequent client interaction with a great attitude, friendly communication and small talk, and a clean and put together appearance!

The delivery specialist transfers the product from the shipping containers (5-gallon pails through 55-gallon drums) into storage tanks at the customer’s facility and checks product application equipment. May include transporting product up and down ramps, stairs, or loading docks. Deliveries are made in company-owned ½- and 1-ton pick-ups.

Responsibilities:

· Unload and deliver shipping containers, by hand or using hand carts, at customer locations using a safe, courteous, and service-oriented method.

· Operate and maintain a clean company truck in a safe and professional manner.

· Perform pre/post trip inspections and operate the vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations.

· Represent the Company in a professional manner.

· Follow all Company driver and safety rules, standard operating procedures, and processes.

· Help out around the Shop/Warehouse including assisting other employees on two-man projects and filling shipping containers with product in the Shop

· Perform general housekeeping tasks on equipment at customer’s location and in the Shop

Required Qualifications:

· High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent

· Background check, MVR, and drug test required prior to hire

· Employee will be required to acquire a commercial driver license (CDL) within the first two months of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

· Some college credits

· CDL with a hazmat endorsement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
