DeltaV Automation Engineer 1331
SimoTech require a DeltaV Automation Engineer to join our client in a state of the art Biotechnology site based in Cork. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configuration and testing of DeltaV software including graphic’s, control modules, equipment modules and phases.
• Design, configuration and testing of the batch layer on DeltaV.
• Commissioning of new equipment.
• Provide production support on DeltaV issues.
• Execution of change controls.
• Provide project status updates to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or the Life Sciences.
• Previous site commissioning experience on a pharma or biotech batch automation project.
• Strong knowledge of S-88 Batch standard.
• Good understanding of GAMP.
• Strong knowledge of P&IDs.
• Previous experience working with DeltaV software.
• Good understanding of the Biotech process.
