Our office atmosphere is relaxed with a tender-loving-care approach to dentistry that creates a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for our patients. Dental Assistant experience a plus but not required. You will be responsible for assisting our clinicians (Dr. Scalia and Mrs. Ruggieri) while helping to maintain a smooth flowing schedule through fulfillment of your responsibilities (below). Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Collaborate with practice team and patients to ensure optimum patient satisfaction Assist during a variety of treatment procedures Acquiring diagnostic x-rays Preparing and break down of operatory setups. Sterilizing instruments and stocking operators with supplies Performing routine equipment maintenance Greeting patients in a courteous and friendly manner Assisting with answering phone calls and various office tasks as necessary Skills Required for this Role: Excellent communication skills Must be friendly and be able to maintain a smile and positive attitude in moments of high-pressure Must be a team player and work well with others Self-starter and able to work independently Superior organizational skills CPR certification preferred. Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks Confidence with computers and willing to learn new software as necessary Prior experience in dentistry is a plus

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
