Talento Search Group has an opening for a Design Engineer in Hammond, Indiana. This is a direct-hire position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review design briefs, specifications, and other data to produce equipment and component designs
• Use software to produce designs using AutoDesk Inventor
• Create fabrication specifications
• Meet with project members to review designs
• Ensure products adhere to standards
• Modify designs
• CAD Data management
• Reverse engineer from samples

Experience Needed:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field is preferred; or at least 2 years of design engineering experience
• Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventory or similar program
• Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate projects
