Responsibilities for DESIGN ENGINEER SUPERVISOR

• Determine and define project scope, objectives and priorities.
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications for DESIGN ENGINEER SUPERVISOR

• Associate degree in drafting from technical school or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience is similar position
• Manage directly or indirectly all department personnel
• Ability to develop a teamwork environment
• Knowledge in CNC programing and tooling
• Ability to help others and provide solutions to problems
• Solid mathematical and analytical skills
• Extremely detail oriented with ability to stay organized
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge and experience working with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and Cabinet Vision
• Ability to work on your own
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope and timeline
• Salary based on experience and qualifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
