Job Description:

A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on an NX Designer. This individual will be working with internal and external customers to identify needs and requirements in effort to translate them into a manufacturable design that is produced at the highest standard of quality while maintaining profitability and cost efficiency.

• Design product packaging to ensure product integrity and appeal under varying shipping and display conditions.
• Provide technical skill, knowledge, and judgment to ensure designs meets our customer's specific needs.
• Provide technical input and support in the advancement of materials.
• Provide design support for custom and proprietary product development.
• Develop cost profiles and pricing for custom packaging designs.
• Create budgetary / SWAG / normal estimates as requested.
• Perform dfm/standard check doc process as required.
• Manage multiple projects (5-6) effectively while communicating regularly to stakeholders in meeting project timing commitments.
• Support the activities necessary to meet or exceed the financial objectives of both sales growth and profitability for this offering.
• Support the execution and continuous improvement of the quality policy and procedures as appropriate.
• Ensure project requirements are clear/customer needs are met/vetting projects as needed when information is vague or not available.
• Ensure ISO compliance / adherence on all processes within group.

Must Haves:

• Associates Degree in related field
• 2+ years of NX experience
• 2+ years of GM Team Center experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
