Oracle Cloud ERP is the market-leading Financial Management suite for global enterprises. This positions plays a leadership role in creating the strategy and driving the execution for Next-Gen Cloud ERP, including shaping and delivering the overall product vision, record-to-report accounting process reimagination, user design, and service delivery.
This position takes a leadership role in representing Oracle Financials to internal (e.g., engineering, UX, QA/release, vertical peer development, outbound product marketing, sales, and other field organizations) and external (e.g., analysts, customers/prospects, system integrators/partners, etc.) audiences.

Key Responsibilities
As Sr. Director Applications Development within Oracle ERP Cloud, you will be critical in leading a team of functional architects, technical architects, and product managers responsible for managing large-scale, cross-functional, cross-divisional initiatives within Oracle’s OCI Platform & ERP Applications Development organizations. You will lead an elite team that manages complex, crossfunctional programs that accelerates and enables ERP Cloud’s top business initiatives. As a seasoned leader, you will take proactive ownership of complex planning, resolve various execution challenges, thoroughly understand the product areas, and provide strategic recommendations to consistently meet business objectives. You will also ensure initiatives align with strategy and provide progressive visibility against those initiatives. The team is expected to own solution architecture from beginning to end, ensuring thorough execution of the project and more effective communication. The team works with various organization leaders to ensure the completion of critical project activities. The team drives strategic cross-organizational programs and will partner with the cross-functional and cross-business unit leadership teams to drive the strategy of these programs, as well as help plan, organize, and work with teams to execute the vision. In addition,
you will:
- Take ownership of complex parallel cross-functional projects, define initiative/architecture blueprint, and establish standards, best practices, and governance models.
- Drive data-driven decisions, establish pragmatic phased progression, operating models, and cohesive communication plans for large-scale initiatives, and work with the leaders to prepare
effective execution plans. - Anticipate and remove obstacles that slow down, cause excessive churns, or prevent project teams from delivering on project goals.
- Create a collaborative environment among all the stakeholders, provide support and vision, and effectively communicate with the leadership team.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Domain expert in ERP across its multi-dimensions.
- Strong development and architectural experience within large entities for mission-critical applications.
- 15+ years of experience leading large-scale enterprise technology/product programs.
- 10+ years of people management experience.
- Expert at evangelizing and then executing new strategies across the complex matrix.
- Amazing strategic thinker, good at anticipating outcomes, fast at course correction, and incorporating senior exec feedback.
- Can roll up sleeves, get into the details, and take design reviews seriously.
