As a DevOps Engineer with our company, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure and deployment processes, working closely with development teams to integrate new features, managing and monitoring cloud infrastructure, and continuously improving our DevOps processes and practices.

Because of this, our DevOps engineers must be comfortable with learning new technologies, frameworks, systems, and problem domains.

You will:

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that new projects are properly integrated into our infrastructure and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, ensuring that all systems are secure, reliable, and scalable.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code to automate the deployment of cloud resources.
  • Implement and maintain containerized, PaaS, or serverless hosted applications
  • Continuously improve our DevOps processes and practices, keeping up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies
  • Participate in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts

You may be fit for this role if you:

  • Have at least 2 years of professional DevOps engineering experience in the public cloud (preferably AWS)
  • Have worked with cloud infrastructure management and monitoring tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and New Relic
  • Possess strong knowledge of Docker containers and orchestrators like ECS, and have administered Linux systems.
  • Have used CI/CD pipelines and build tools such as Gitlab or Github Actions, Gradle, Maven, and NPM
  • Have experience scripting or programming with Python, Bash, Java, C#, or Javascript
  • Exercise high attention to detail when working with production systems,keeping in mind uptime and security, and fostering the same attitude in others.
  • Have a keen eye for best practice, especially around access controls and network security.
  • Are quick to troubleshoot and understand new problem domains, drawing on previous experience and standards like the OSI model and the PoLP

You might work on:

  • Optimizing cloud systems, applications, or ETL pipelines for reliability,security, and cost
  • Documenting, building, and standardizing new and existing cloud deployments with Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation, Bicep,or Terraform
  • Improving CI/CD systems to automate unit and end to end integration tests or SCA / SAST scanning
  • Build mobile application release pipelines for iOS and Android
  • Load testing and tuning application hosting for sudden or sustained spikes in traffic
