Compensation Range : $45-$65/h based on experience
A global consumer goods organization is seeking an experienced Digital Analytics Specialist to join their local Digital Marketing team. Ideal candidates will be based in the Chicago area and have a background working within ecommerce. Excellent communication skills are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with Product Managers and business leads to understand key questions, business objectives, priority customer journeys, and other data and reporting needs
- Define strategic business (what) and technical (how) requirements for measuring new features across the digital platforms (i.e., web and app)
- Prioritize and track progress of enhancements and bugs in JIRA
- Work closely with QA to ensure strong data integrity
- Partner closely with Product Owners and UX/UI to review new user experiences and understand PI plan/timelines
- Actively participate in cross-functional working sessions to identify, communicate, and resolve data capture issues
- Work cross-functionally to standardize marketing tags & input them in the company's tag management systems
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years experience in a Digital Analytics role, preferably with an ecommerce background
- Prioritize and track progress of enhancements and bugs in JIRA
- Strong understanding and implementation of tag management systems specifically Tealium iQ
- Experience with building measurement plans and an understanding of digital analytics tools (i.e., Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics)
- Understanding of debugging and automation testing tools and methods
- General understanding of event-driven data layer and client-side tracking concepts
