What you will be doing
Albertsons Companies is seeking a Digital Product Analyst to join the Digital Shopper Experience organization as part of the Strategy, Operations & Analytics team. This team is tasked with connecting the end-to-end customer journey across all our digital experiences.
The team is seeking an Analyst who is intellectually curious and passionate about identifying unique and exciting insights by analyzing internal and external data sets and connecting dots. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with cross-functional leaders including Product, App/Web/UX, Catalog, Marketing, Loyalty, IT, and Operations.
The grocery industry is digitally underdeveloped, and this person will contribute to influencing the future of grocery and establish Albertsons as an industry leader. The position will be based in Pleasanton, California, Dallas, Texas, or Phoenix, Arizona.
Main responsibilities
- Deliver analytics and insights to drive world-class customer experiences.
- Build data visualizations and dashboards to track initiative performance and empower self-service.
- Work with the business users to understand their KPIs, gather requirements and build reports.
- Apply analytical skills to complex quantitative problems, presenting actionable insights to key stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to implement analytics solutions.
- Research and recommend solutions to increasingly complex business or technical problems.
- Set ambitious goals for quality, reliability, and impact of the data ecosystem. Gather and combine feedback from internal metrics and user studies to continuously improve.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision making.
The salary range is 110,800 to $155,080.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics or Finance).
- 3+ years of relevant work experience performing applied quantitative analysis utilizing large data sets. Experience working within the retail industry and high-tech environments is preferred.
- Strategy consulting experience is a plus.
- Experience building reports and dashboards using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or MicroStrategy.
- Advanced Excel and quantitative analysis.
- Ability to write SQL queries to extract data for analysis.
- Experience influencing and partnering with stakeholders across organizations.
- Experience working in business systems such as Salesforce, and a general understanding of how data flows from system to system.
