Job description

The Athletes For Change Residential Treatment Center is accepting applications for Direct Care Staff workers at our facility in the Desoto area. (Available shift is Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm). We are a 24-hour full boarding program for Juvenile Justice or CPS teen boys ages 13-17 and have two houses on 3 acres to host 27 teen boys. The boys live and go to school on the property.

You would be responsible for supervising and mentoring the boys as they go through their daily activities. Must be able to resolve conflicts quickly and be a calming source of strength for the boys.

All candidates must undergo an FBI fingerprint national background check and pass a drug test. At least 1 year experience with teens in a residential setting preferred. College degree preferred. $14-$15/hour based on relevant experience. Sorry, we do not offer paid benefits.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
