POSITION SUMMARY:

The Direct Sales Coordinator position exists to assist the Sales Professionals in sending and receiving documents necessary for coordinating sales and ensuring any documents are received to book a sale.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinates sending out documents necessary to book a sale.
  • Reviews and resolves any potential issues with properties that are being sold.
  • Communicates with the Loan Restructuring Department to ensure proper documents are provided to complete the sale.
  • Assists with ordering appraisals and engineer certificates when needed.
  • Ensures the sales professionals are updated on status of sales and any issues regarding them.
  • Maintains accurate records of homes assigned.
  • Communicates directly with Remarketing Operations team.

· Provides assistance to title companies and attorneys if they need any seller documents from Remarketing.

· Communicates with banks on cash sales.

  • Protects Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc. branding and assets by maintaining a high level of integrity throughout the sales process.
  • Provides a great home buying experience by exceeding the customer expectations and honoring commitments.
  • Promotes teamwork and success for the department/company.
  • Promotes company image through professional service and actions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, college preferred.
  • Knowledge of AS/400, LINK, Microsoft Office, and Right Fax a plus.
  • Previous data entry experience a plus.
  • Must be available to work shifts in the evening until 8pm and some Saturday shifts.
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Great communication through email, phone, and in-person.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and multi-task.
  • Must be goal driven and well organized.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • 75% communication methods completed over the phone.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information at all times.
  • Ability to identify and assess account status and determine appropriate process.
  • Constantly works in an indoor temperature controlled, sealed window office environment.
