Hiring for a Direct Support Professional!

Vivet Health is a licensed 245D HCBS waiver services provider serving Scott County and surrounding areas. We are looking to hire a Direct Support Professional to provide care for people with vaious disabilities.

• Applicant must be 18 years or older

• Ability to effectively communicate in English

• Must be able to pass Department of Human Services background check

• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance required

• Paid training is provided!

LOCATION: Golden Valley MN

HOURS AVAILABLE: Flexible hours

JOB SUMMARY: As a Direct Support Professional, you will have the responsibility of improving and enriching the lives of people with developmental, physical and mental disabilities. Your role requires meeting the needs of the individuals supported in the home.This individual must possess excellent communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently within a defined set of policies, procedures, and guidelines.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Assistance with moderate home management and/or activities of daily living.

• Assistance with meal preparation and light housekeeping.

• Teaching independent living skills

• Document client progress reports and meeting notes.

• Facilitating community and recreational outings

EXPERIENCE:

• DSP 1 year (Preferred)
• PCA Certification (Great to have)

• Caregiving 1 year (Preferred)

• Basic Computer Skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
