Job Title: Direct Support Professional/Caregiver

Job Summary: Unchange Home Care Services is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver/Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to our clients in their homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. The Direct Support Professional/Caregiver will also be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the clients at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Direct Support Professional/Caregiver at Uchange Home Care Services, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients. Your primary duties will include:

• Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Providing medication reminders and assistance with medication administration
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
• Performing light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and vacuuming
• Accompanying clients to appointments and on errands
• Engaging clients in social and recreational activities
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services provided

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of experience working in a healthcare or home care setting
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds

In addition to the qualifications listed above, candidates must be able to provide proof of a negative TB test or a chest x-ray that is less than 1 year old. This is a requirement for all caregivers to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.

Working Conditions:

• Work is primarily performed in clients' homes.
• May be required to work morning shift, weekends, holidays, evenings and Overnight.
• May be required to lift and move clients or equipment.
