JOB DESCRIPTION

Behavioral Health Director is responsible for directing all aspects of inpatient psychiatric operations, including managing and mentoring staff, developing and enforcing policies and procedures, preparing and maintaining accreditation and accountability for the departments budget and productivity. This position supports psychiatric care throughout the facility.

Minimum Education: Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Advanced degree in Business, Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.

Minimum Experience: Five years of mental health experience with at least two years’ experience in a leadership role. Experience working in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred. Previous leadership, program development, budget and productivity, and clinical experience required. Must possess strong human relations and interpersonal skills.

Licensure: Current New Mexico Nursing License or compact license required.

This is a full-time exempt position.

• Experience working in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred.

• Working knowledge of Behavioral Healthcare codes in NM.
• Experience working in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate the behavioral health system.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
