Our team is looking for a Director of the Investment Performance Analysis – Benchmark COE (Center of Excellence). Your responsibilities will be building a team that serves as central coordinator and subject matter expert for benchmark data needs across the firm. The Benchmark COE will develop a governance process as well as a training and communication program for all users of benchmark data across the firm. As Director, you will liaise with consumers across Client Relationship, Investments, Market Data, Technology and Reporting teams to ensure efficient onboarding and access to the data sets required to support needs.
Highlights of the role include:

Design governance and oversight support processes around benchmark data usage and consumption. Identify gaps and serve as escalation support to communicate changes to all impacted teams.

Partner with leadership team to develop best practices for efforts while keeping an eye on effectiveness and quality

Establish communication mechanism that reaches all impacted consumers and update as organizational changes occur

Set expectations at onboarding on the timing experience related to external data providers

Evaluate possible technologies to support a workflow tool to onboard benchmark market data content efficiently and transparently

Serve as the subject matter expert for vended benchmark data processes and content. Lead training and change management for users on process changes or product updates.

Manage business relationships with vendors that support the data required of our consumers

Build team to support the benchmark data needs across the firm
Requirements:
-
8+ years of experience related to benchmark market data, including experience leading teams
-
Experience with, and passion for, building capabilities and driving change within an organization
-
Investment Management, Market Data Provider or Financial Services experience is desirable
-
Positive influencer with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
-
Strong organizational skills, work ethic, initiative, sense of urgency and attention to detail
-
The ability to think strategically and gain support for ideas and initiatives
-
Proven experience managing vendors, including assessing and holding vendors accountable prior to renewals
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Experience with vended market data procurement across major index providers, including familiarity with customization.

History of implementing data governance frameworks and processes.

Ability to partner and leverage trusted relationships
-
Thought leadership and ability to design and implement innovative solutions

Experience supporting Asset Management, Investments, and/or Investment Performance

Team building experience

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
