Requirements:
- Master of Public Administration (MPA) or Master of Public Health (MPH) degree is preferred
- Must have 5 years minimum of relative Healthcare industry experience in a provider network management and value-based environment and MPH/MPA degree; or
- Must have 10 years minimum of relative Healthcare industry experience in a provider network management and value-based environment.
- Must have a solid background in healthcare, preferably experience working in a network management and value-based role.
- Must have excellent healthcare and financial data analysis skills
- Must have knowledge of IPAs, Large Provider Groups, H+H Facilities, and diverse communities required to target providers that serve different demographics.
- Must have the ability to decipher the contractual language and clearly deliver messages to clients and customers with written and verbal communication.
- Must have experience facilitating and contracting arrangements.
- Must have the ability to design training curriculum related to prospecting, sales and lead generation, product features and benefits, and competitive analysis
Responsibilities:
- Anticipates and prevents issues from arising by assessing root cause analysis for highly successful partnerships geared towards provider growth and profitability.
- Establishes and expands on external partnerships aligned with the company’s business goals and procedures.
- Successfully identifies and implements operational efficiencies between the company and business partners geared towards a provider account management structure.
- Tracks, measures, and monitors retention for provider type, business partners, facilities, associated doctors, and members.
- Manages Account Manager's day-to-day responsibilities to ensure a solid understanding of increasing and retaining assigned accounts.
- Implements a system to monitor Account Manager's productivity by the line of business; conducts research to provide proposals and solutions to prospective clients based on discoveries.
- Provides weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual account updates to the Senior Director of Account Management Services and strategizes innovative methods for continued growth.
- Collaborates with internal departments to address issues regarding account claims, authorizations, and discrepancies; authorize, deny and clarify the performance of procedures if applicable.
- Provides line of business (LOB) expertise across the company’s full spectrum of offerings.
- Produces, analyzes and presents financial reports to assess return on investment (ROI) for strategic initiatives.
- Develops a performance (clinical, financial, and growth) dashboard to share metric performance and address issues for accounts.
- Create C-suite level presentations outlining provider performance and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Sr. Director to advocate internally while effectively collaborating with internal, cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, quality, provider relations, and clinical.
- Collaborate with the Sr. Director to develop retention strategies aimed at reducing plan-to-plan and partners provider group transfers recommending improvement opportunities.
- Provide high-level data analysis using Excel and other operating systems to build strong relationships with internal and external partners, to ensure retention activities are coordinated and consistent and meet business objectives.
- Lead the cross-functionality with Regulatory and other departments to understand program changes ensuring that the team understands the member and financial impact of the changes as it relates to partner provider groups and the organization.
