We're hiring a Director of Business Development!
BrightStar Care of Grosse Pointe and Southeast Macomb, MI is looking to hire a Director of Business Development to join our team! We are a Joint Commission accredited home care services company that provides home health aide and nursing services in the Wayne and Macomb County. As the Director of Business Development, you will succeed because you are driven, welcome the challenge of finding new accounts and referral sources, and enjoy pitching our services at marketing and networking events.
Home care is booming so your success as is only limited by what you're able to accomplish. This position offers a very competitive base salary plus commission and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Call on healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics and eldercare facilities in order to generate sales for both HealthCare Staffing and Private Duty home care.
- Meet or exceed established sales targets.
- Develop Marketing Plan for new or existing territory.
- Join and attend area networking and chamber groups.
- Seek, develop and participate in marketing opportunities in the community.
- Establish working rapport with health care professionals in the territory.
- Participate in living room visits when required.
- Plan, organize and attend sponsorship, marketing and continuing education events.
- Identify and pursue additional revenue opportunities as they may present themselves.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Hybrid of office, home and field work locations.
- Keep CRM platform updated.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, multi-tasking and problem solving.
- Present well to clients and peers.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of health care in home and institutional setting.
- Comfortable with closing/asking for business.
- Exhibit outstanding organizational skills and a service attitude towards the community.
- Excellent written and oral skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and sign confidentiality agreement.
- Requires valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and insurance.
