We do this by empowering individuals to achieve personal success through comprehensive Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services and Progressive Mental Health Rehabilitation. Based in Matteson Illinois, our accredited Community Mental Health and Counseling Division assists adults and youth experiencing mental illness in working toward recovery and prosperity. Community Mental Health and Counseling (CMHC) is currently expanding its diverse interdisciplinary teams to support a growing need for mental health awareness and crisis intervention.
Your Role
As the Director of Clinical Program Services, you will be responsible for clinical and administrative oversight for the following programs: Psychosocial Rehabilitation Day programs, Intake and Assessment, Case Management, Youth Services, and Private Practice. The position will lead efforts in developing strategic partnerships with other providers while developing new program initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, supervision, training and clinical support to all direct reports, while promoting a person-centered environment and self-advocacy concepts.
- Provide administrative support in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to recruiting, onboarding, and training employees; performance management; and conflict resolution.
- Develop and implement program services that enhance services while providing additional revenue streams for the sustainability of all programs.
- Oversee the clinical staff’s training and growth of clinicians while developing new training and resources to improve the quality of services.
- Oversee and ensure the agency is meeting all required compliance and other rules related to services provided.
- Lead and propose new grant initiatives and billable services that will match the agencies mission.
- Explore and develop strategic partnerships with other providers to enhance services and improve linkage support.
- Develop and monitor programs budgeted revenue, outcomes, and goals.
- Responsible for marketing and promotion of services by providing guidance and leadership to improve external communication of CMHC services.
- Function as the program Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts in the absence of Program Managers and Supervisors.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in human services related field.
- LCPC or LCSW (or within 6 months of hire with 5+ years clinical experience).
- Minimum of three years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness.
- Minimum of two years supervisory/administrative experience.
- Knowledge of Medicaid Community Mental Health.
- Effective communication skills both oral and written.
- Within one year of hire, complete training on trauma-informed principles and/or practices.
- Valid driver’s license and documentation of current auto insurance, with an acceptable motor vehicle report.
- Proficient in the use of computers, software applications, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
