GCS facility in Woburn Ma (serves children 3 mo – 7 years old) seeks a Program Assistant Director who will build upon our high level of quality, uniqueness and academic cores, and bring his/her experience to continue and expand our mission and educational vision. The individual will function as an integral member of our Senior Executive team, demonstrate high devotion to our school philosophy and nurture our families-teachers-GCS friends, and community circle. Successful candidate will play a key role in strategic growth planning, improving our innovative training and curriculum, develop and support a team of talented and multi-ethnic teachers. Ideal Candidate speaks fluently more than one language, has multicultural background and travel experience. Global Children School developed a unique curriculum based on 4 core foundations:

We constantly contribute to Our GCS network rapid growth worldwide. Our high standard curricular is enhanced and imbedded into daily routine. Such as physical development program, music program, dancing, art, nature observing, designing, constructing, creating-real-things-yourself guided by specialized teachers. Our curriculum goes beyond familiar to most parents Montessori method. It is based on front-ended world scientific research introducing The Social Development Situation and The Area of The Nearest Development where the child gets cultural-historical experience in the process of joint activities with adults and other competent peers (“experts”). Together with all GCS community members we dedicate ourselves to provide all support parents need in raising global children whatever the family situation is.
We recognize early educators’ importance and focus on expansion of professional expertise of team members through the GCS certified paid training and tuition reimbursements, as well as
attending paid worldwide early child education events, participating in teachers’ competitions and grant programs.
Core responsibilities not limited to:
- Represent Global Children school through communication with employees, parents, children, state licensing authorities, vendors and other members of the GCS community.
- Work closely with Senior Executive Team to polish and enforce school’s policies and procedures.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintain the most outstanding care for children and families in the area.
- Ensure consistent compliance with state licensing requirements, staff qualifications, teacher/child ratios, health regulations, fire codes, and keep all permits and licenses current.
- Using GCS resources, overview and enrich GCS unique and innovative curriculum and ensure that the school is truly world-class.
- Train and motivate the most talented and diverse teachers available. Handle scheduling and personnel-related matters.
- Actively work with other programs we offer on sight to ensure proper coordination and overall success of the GCSEEC and participate in global-wide activities and programs.
- Provide any support teachers need, help with planning activities and coordinate ongoing projects.
- Join teachers in the classroom to observe and support the teaching-learning process. Perform employee’s evaluation.
- Work with teachers to integrate GCS values, mold the philosophy and direction of the school into child and family learning.
- Facilitate invigorating team and family’s meetings.
- Implement a plan to reach and sustain enrollment; conduct tours for prospective parents, enroll new families, and assist the management’s efforts to quickly ramp up and meet enrollment goals.
- Manage the finances of the center effectively and within budgetary guidelines. Ensure all finance-related record keeping requirements are met.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a preference in Early Education
- Director level I certification in the state of MA
- Solid understanding of licensing standards of the MA State and other accreditation programs like NAEYC and IBO.
- Minimum of 1 year in a management role in early childhood education

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
