My client is looking to recruit a Assistant Director of Nursing for a picturesque family run Nursing Home in Co Wicklow.

This an exciting opportunity for an PIC to join a supportive care team commutable distance to Dublin City.

Responsibilities

• Helping to hire, train, teach, and monitor staff nurses.
• Managing clinical operations and developing care plans.
• Preparing the daily schedule and planning shifts.
• Ensuring nursing staff follows departmental procedures and policies.
• Assisting in budget preparation and expense management
• Evaluating the performance and recommending improvements.
• Scheduling staff meetings for patient updates, issues, and recommendations.

Assistant Director of Nursing Requirements:

• A bachelor's or associate's degree in nursing.
• A Registered nursing license.
• 3-4 years experience in Nurse Management / CNM
• Good critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
• Good planning and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of computers and healthcare software.
• The ability to work under stressful conditions.

Excellent salary and package available for the right candidate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €65,000.00-€75,000.00 per year
