Overview:

As a Benedictine Health System (BHS) associate, you will be part of a faith-based organization that provides compassionate care and services guided by our core values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice.

Responsibilities:

The DON is responsible for leading, planning, organizing, and analyzing the nursing services of the department. Develops and maintains policies, procedures, and activity to provide compliance with all regulations and nursing standards.

Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the quality assurance program, including client, family and staff satisfaction, safety and risk management, and strategic planning.

Develops and manages the department's budget. Ensures that a staff development program is in place to meet regulatory clinical and staff needs. Assists in the hiring, evaluation, and counseling of the department staff.

Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• CPR Certified.
• Two (2) years of RN experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in long term care, health care, or related area.
• Knowledgeable on applicable rules and regulations.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Qualifications Preferred:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,324.90 - $109,000.00 per year
