Job description
The Managing Director/Director of Operations (MD) is a senior leader within MTF Childcare, providing overall guidance to all members of the operations team. This role will have significant accountability to ensuring an efficient and profitable operation. A successful MD is a solution oriented, strategic thinker with the ability to inspire continuous improvement in their team.
A MTF Childcare Managing Director will:
Provide support and direction to Territory and Support Leaders.
Hire and develop staff at every level of the organization.
Manage the financial performance of areas of the business at a macro and micro level.
Maintain strong relationships with PTAs and Vendor/School Partners.
Initiate and follow through with PTA and B/A contract renegotiation.
Plan, monitor, and analyze site performance to ensure quality and financial viability.
Communicate and partner with the Executive Team, Support Team, and program staff. The ability to lead in a dotted line relationship is critical.
Participate and lead various company initiatives.
Cultivating sales leads to expand Company presence.
Create a collaborative work environment.
Think strategically to assist in positioning the Childcare Division for growth.
Streamline and implement new policies to increase organizational effectiveness.
Other duties or projects as assigned to foster the growth of the company.
Qualifications of a Managing Director:
Minimum of 10 years leadership experience.
Ability to quickly build relationships with multiple Stakeholders.
Superior knowledge of multiple operations functions and principals.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
In-depth understanding of personnel management principles around developing employees.
Strong working knowledge of industry regulation and legislative guidelines.
Willingness to appropriate challenge leadership and confidently present ideas.
Maintain calm while acting with a sense of urgency.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67,500.00 - $75,000.00 per year
