WHO WE WANT
We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Director of Resident Services who will provide exceptional customer service to our residents and their families. The ideal candidate will have experience performing senior health assessments, reading physician’s reports, coordinating care with health providers, and knowledge of:

• POLST & AHCD
• RAP Applications
• Long Term Care Claims
• Incident Reporting
• Death Reporting
• Hospice Notifications
• Monitoring skilled nursing stays, hospitalizations, covid cases

You’re adaptable, open to change, and inspire creativity in others. To be successful in this role, you will need the right amount of both tact and temperament.

WHAT THE ENVIRONMENT IS LIKE
You will see the Pacific Ocean every day you drive into work. You may receive quick gratification from knowing that you were instrumental in providing a resident with proper care, and providing their families with peace of mind. The responsibilities are great: dealing with emergencies, distraught family members, submitting crucial reports in a timely manner and managing various projects.

As the point person for residents, their families and certain care staff – you may be required to respond quickly to phone calls and assist with escalations, even during weekends. You must also be able to:

Regularly: lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts, exposed to moderate noise levels

Occasionally: lift and/or move above 25 pounds with the assistance from a co-worker and/or mechanical means. Exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock and vibration
