Position Title: Sales and Marketing Director

Overview:

Join The Oaks on the River Luxury Boutique Resort located on the Darien, Georgia river bluff. Become key member of team to build a local, national, international brand high end destination resort. Should have 2+ years successful hotel Sales and Manager experience, excellent compensation to include salary, bonus, benefits, and profit sharing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strong leadership capabilities and communication
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Sales and Marketing
• Generate and Implementation of sales plans
• Creating engaging advertisement
• Promotional literature
• Development pricing strategy
• Meeting sales objectives.
• Promoting the Hotel via email blasts and other media and web outlets
• Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that goals and quotas are met.
• Researching and development marketing opportunities understanding consumer (Hotel guests) requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to Hotel objectives
• Maintaining relationships with key producers by scheduling regular visits, calling, zoom meetings and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
• Staying current in the industry by attending educational workshops, webinars, conferences and maintaining a personal and professional networks.

Qualifications for Sales and Marketing Director:

• 3-5 years experience in marketing and sales
• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• The ability to motivate and lead a team
• Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
• Excellent communication skills in a well-rounded sense of the hospitality market
• Outstanding planning and organizational skills
• The ability to maintain composure under pressure
• Capable of development strategy tactics, sales plans and profit targets
• Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets
• Representing the business (Hotel) at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
• Good IT, budget and reporting skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Comply with company policies and procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
