POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Strategy & Operations is responsible for authoring and executing unified strategies centered on operational development in the pursuit of fulfilling the strategic plan. They will be responsible for pioneering new strategic partnerships, managing and interpreting internal analytics and managing the Pro Sportsman team to drive profitable and sustainable growth.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, manage, and foster relationships with key fulfillment partners to expand product catalog
  • Maintain strict adherence to vendor requirements to further strengthen shared fate with partners
  • Develop a customer centric approach that increases retention while maintaining margin requirements
  • Develop and oversee KPI metrics and operational health
  • Author and execute sales and marketing strategies that are centered on bolstering sales and profitability
  • Continue to develop and refine the dropship tech stack to maximize integrations and streamline operations
  • Oversee web development partners, marketing firms, and strategic eComm partnerships
  • Maintain strong fiduciary oversight by meeting pro forma objectives and reporting monthly on variance
  • Manage margins on sales and distribution of all products
  • Independently lead the Pro Sportsman team day in, day out
  • Analyze and optimize business processes and procedures
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly detailed eCommerce sales reports

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

  • 3+ years leadership role experience in related field
  • Proven eCommerce or data management expertise
  • Fulfillment or operational experience selling on third party sales channels
  • Ability to form and foster strategic partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to author and execute dynamic sales and marketing strategies
  • A strong understanding of modern eCommerce practices
  • Proven experience in leading and developing team members
