Job Description Summary
The Director Product Management drives long-term strategy by designing life insurance products for individual markets and managing existing product portfolio to ensure profitable sales. Oversees all development and delivery activity partnering with project management, technology, and operations from inception to launch.

Responsibilities
- Direct the product team responsible for documentation of product design and completion of product project initiatives.
- Work with staff to define product features, competitiveness, profitability and launch dates.
- Partner with functional areas across the organization, including distribution, pricing, compliance, marketing, technology, operations, and project management.
- Analyze product roadmaps, product designs and systems; make recommendations to key stakeholders on the overall product design and system strategy.
- Partner with Transformation Office to ensure resource alignment and accurate documentation throughout the project life cycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of product management or related insurance experience.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance product features and riders.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance sales and marketing techniques.
- High-level understanding of product pricing principles.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills to convey product strategy and features to large audiences across the organization.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Preferred: Professional designations (e.g. CLU, ChFC, CFP, MBA, PMP)

Compensation:
The salary for this position generally ranges between $125,000-$165,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
Bonus Eligibility:
This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion.
