We are seeking Dishwasher to join Lenora, a new restaurant in Portland. We are seeking people with a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and who are interested in learning more about working in kitchens. The ideal applicant will be a hard-working team player, with an open availability, have a positive attitude, be detailed oriented and work well under pressure.

About Lenora:

Lenora is located in the Old Port at 2 Portland Square, and serves Mexican style street food with an agave forward cocktail program. Lenora is open daily and operates a café-style breakfast that transitions into lunch + dinner (open from 7am-10pm). Hospitality and exceptional service in a casual neighborhood atmosphere is at the core of the operations.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Effectively communicate with Kitchen Management and co-workers to contribute to a positive team-work minded environment

- Adhere to a professional work environment and conduct

- Organized and self-motivated

- Able to strictly follow all health and safety guidelines when handling food and/or food equipment

- Scrape, rinse, and load dishes into a machine or wash manually

- Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation, including machines

- Re-stock kitchen items to appropriate location after being cleaned and sanitized

- Empty trash containers as needed and dispose in proper receptacles

- Mop and sweep work station continually throughout shift

- Able to stand, walk, navigate stairs, use arms/hands for extended periods of time

- Able and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed

- Night and Weekend availability is necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
