Dispatcher
Reports To: Operations Manager
Location: El Paso, TX
Environment: Onsite
Status: Salaried; Non-Exempt
Work Schedule:
This position is FULL-TIME and ONSITE Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00AM – 4:00PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Purpose of Your Work:
As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for assisting our teams based in El Paso, McAllen, Chicago, and/or Carol Stream, through dispatching company drivers and/or owner operators, load entry, track and trace, and settlement management.
How You Make a Difference Everyday:
- Data entry and update of TMS for all operations or assigned fleet
- Process and generate appropriate paperwork/POD’s for invoicing and driver settlements if needed
- Manage assigned fleet; develop rapport with company drivers and owner operators- Retention
- Efficient and effective problem-solving related to freight shipments
- Monitor shipment status in-transit and communicates updates to other departments as needed
- Provide thorough and complete dispatch to achieve customer service goals
- Exercise exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills in order to ensure high performance and profitability
- Support the maximization of asset utilization daily
- Coordinate with Capacity Utilization Planners and Customer Service Representatives to ensure that all accepted orders meet transit expectations
- Support driver development, education, and training related to Operations and Safety policy and procedure
- Coordinate and monitor drivers' requests for "home time"
- Make safety-conscious decisions in cooperation with the Department of Safety and Compliance
- Review driver settlements or accuracy
- Assist and set up transition from Day to Afterhours operation

- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment; problem solver
- Results-driven
- Computer proficiency required for transportation management system ("TMS") and Microsoft Office products including Outlook
- Minimum 1-year experience at operational role at trucking company or freight brokerage preferred
- Bilingual preferred (English-Spanish)
