Opening the doors of its first store in Bunclody in April 2008, Chemco Pharmacy expanded to open further 10 branches. Our head office based in Kilkenny, houses the Pharmaceutical Wholesale Department, allowing us to pass on competitive prices to our customers, thereby enchancing our ‘value for money ‘ ethos.

Due to continued growth Chemco Pharmacy are now looking for a Dispensary Manager to work full time in their Celbridge store.

This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of a motivating and busy team. This role will be working within a dispensary setting serving community based customers.

As the face of Chemco Pharmacy, it is important that the successful applicant demonstrates excellence in the following skills and attributes:

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician accredited via IPU or similar.
• Primarily the role will oversee/manage all duties in the dispensary which includes medication supply to community patients.
• Previous dispensary experience is essential or experience in a similar role.
• Be a team player and have the ability to lead and work on own initiative.
• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail and be very organised.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be capable of working on own initiative.
• Be flexible in approach to work.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Excellent customer service and people management skills.
• Must have a positive and professional attitude, be confidential as well as the appreciation for the importance of delivering excellent customer service.
• Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
• Pharmacy experience or similar experience preferred.
