Superior Auto, Inc. is a regional Buy Here, Pay Here automotive group that is seeking a multi-unit leader to join our team in West Central Kentucky. Founded in 1975, we have grown to 70 dealerships by helping hard- working people purchase a vehicle they need despite credit challenges. Our mission is to build relationships that last by providing reliable transportation and convenient financing options.

Our District Managers train, coach, and develop our General Managers who plan and lead the dealership operations. These areas include staffing, new hire training, dealership and staff presentation, vehicle sales and ensuring customer payments are collected utilizing our Progressive Collections Guidelines. By ensuring effective dealership operations, you will help your teams drive to achieve sales and collections performance goals and deliver expected operating profits.

**Must live in Henderson or Owensboro, KY / willing to relocate to the area for consideration


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure staff is experiencing a great culture, focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Validate that the Dealership Presentation Guidelines and Sales Manual are effectively utilized in each dealership, resulting in superior inventory presentation and management
  • Ensure dealerships achieve monthly sales by utilizing the Superior Auto Sales Manual
  • Ensuring customer payments are collected utilizing our Progressive Collections Guidelines to attain monthly collections goals
  • Ensure effective scheduling, in accordance with company guidelines
  • Continued development of staff through proactive recruitment, selection and training
  • Partner with Marketing and the dealership teams to identify and develop business partnerships that lead to growth expectations
  • Monitor regional and dealership business metrics to identify areas for improvement. In conjunction with General Managers, create and execute plans for improvement
  • Consistent and effective communication of company expectations

Experience and Education

  • Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility, managing multi-unit operation in retail, grocery, restaurant or convenience store operation with P&L responsibility
  • “Big-box” retail management and/or equivalent education and experience combination will be considered
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
