Job Description: District Manager
Reports to: Owner
Hours: Full-Time
Purpose & Objective:
The District Manager is a senior management role that is responsible for the successful day-to-day operations of the company’s
locations and alignment to Company Goals. The objective of this role is to create an environment that allows employees to flourish and
succeed in their roles, inspecting and upholding company performance objectives, and intervening when necessary to ensure
adherence to goals.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
PRIMARY:
● Understand and Uphold Company Standards, Goals, and KPIs: Works with Owner to deeply understand these expectations. Partners with individual store leadership to ensure these expectations are upheld. These metrics include, but arenot limited to: Total Sales, Average Repair Order, Gross Profit, Net Profit, Effective Labor Rate, Comeback %, Call Conversion %, Overhead Cost.
● Assist Stores with Recruiting, Interviewing, and Hiring: Based on staffing needs, helps stores recruit, interview, and hire as needed based on role.
● Audits Major Aspects of Stores Physical Locations, Performance, and Operations: Regularly performs audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company processes, procedures, and standards.
● Manage, Mentor, and Coach: The District Manager role acts as a manager, mentor, and coach to the store's leadership including the General Manager and Foreman.
SECONDARY:
● Resolves Escalated Customer Service and Employee Issues: As needed, works with affected parties to resolve conflicts among customers and employees. This is done in alignment with boundaries established by the Owner. This includes handling bad reviews from customers.
● Ensures Safety of Stores in Accordance with OSHA and State/Local Standards: Inspects stores to ensure compliance with codes. This includes SDS sheets, posters, best practices, and attention to other items as needed to ensure compliance.
Additional responsibilities and duties may be necessary based on the needs of the business.
Must possess the following Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
● Must possess a valid US Driver's License, be insurable on the shop insurance policy, and possess the ability to drive a vehicle with passengers.
● 5 years or more of practical experience working in a management role.
● Demonstrative skills in leading/managing people
● Ability to clearly communicate in English with others verbally and in various written forms. Ability to communicate in written form both with hand-written communication and typed communication.
● Ability and knowledge of how to use a computer and diagnostic tools to diagnose vehicles, look up repair instructions, and access Customer Management Software. This includes the ability to view a monitor and use touch screens, mice, and keyboards.
● Skilled and able to perform basic counting and math.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
