Division Technology Manager - Agriculture & Natural Resources
Job description
Develops, delivers, and evaluates communication strategies delivered through innovative technology. Works across Extension Program Teams for Agriculture & Natural Resources and coordinates work closely with Instructional Designers. Completes other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
60% - Essential - Develop, update and support social media outlets &websites with target program information, current events, contact information and embedded on-line lessons. Conceptualize and produce high quality media assets which support stated program objectives and outcomes for Extension programs such as presentations, video, photos and other learning objectives. Creates social media messaging, schedules postings and monitors social media and technology outlets for programs as assigned. Promotes events and programs, recruits, enrolls, and evaluates participants for target programs. Provides technical assistance to Extension agents and staff utilizing technology to the full benefit of their program and its participants.
20% - Essential - Works with Extension Evaluation Specialist to develop and administer evaluation for assigned programs. Assesses outcomes for Extension lessons and programs based on analytics and evaluation results and provides recommendations for improvement in information transfer and behavior change/skill adoption. Aligns with Clemson Universities policies for technology and social media and provide employee onboarding training on these policies upon request.
10% - Essential - Interacts and coordinates technology communication management efforts with teaching and research faculty, state and federal agencies and private partners and organizations to identify programming needs and communicate impact. Provides employee training on social media, websites, and other technology as requested. Evaluates training efforts and disseminates results.
5% - Essential - Develop scholarly outputs and products that support Clemson Extension's reputation in program and initiative implementation and dissemination with an emphasis on synchronous and asynchronous virtual learning (publications, expert presentations, programs, validated evaluation instruments, applied research outputs, etc). Seek grants and private gifts to support assigned programs.
5% - Essential - Attends program specific, office and Extension team meetings and trainings as assigned by supervisor. Communicates effectively, both verbally and through written correspondence to Extension and program administrators. Participates in training and professional development that may require travel out of assigned territory.

Standard Hrs: 37.5; Expected Salary Range ( $57,600.00 - $85,000.00 )

Required to maintain/resume essential support functions, deliver direct care services, and/or provide recovery support before normal operations resume. Some positions in this category may be required to work remotely or be on-call.
