About the Role: The Medical Products Division is seeking add an Administrative Functional Leader to the Plant Operations organization. In this role you will lead the Administrative team leaders and interact with MPD associates to align priorities and action plans. This role will partner broadly to establish strategic goals and metrics ensuring an effective, inclusive and productive environment for all Associates in the function.

This position will be located at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona or our facility in Phoenix, Arizona with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.*

Responsibilities:
  • Provide people leadership to team leaders and individual contributors to achieve business, functional and divisional results
  • Contribute to the divisional operating Plan, forecast, and resource plan necessary to maintain the Admin Function
  • Drive the Performance & Development process and Contribution & Compensation process for the function in MPD and participate in related Enterprise alignment activities
  • Drive the development, implementation, and continual improvement of divisional, regional and local standardized processes
  • Develop and maintain a workforce strategy inclusive of an ongoing resource contingency plan as well as a knowledge management and transfer process
  • Champion the Gore Culture through leadership by example, embrace and practice the principals, values and brand promise
  • Ensure robust functional communication and alignment by representing and cascading Enterprise and MPD strategic priorities
  • Ensure a team environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion where associates can bring their full selves to the workplace

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' leadership experience within an administrative function and/or experience providing administrative support at an executive level
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong teams and effectively address Associate performance
  • Experience handling multiple projects and priorities with competing resource needs
  • High level of experience in general business operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to partner broadly with flexibility, providing a high level of motivation and excellent mentorship skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15%

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Accredited professional administrative certification(s)
  • Experience working across divisions and/or regions
  • Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed.
