Job description
This campaign is confined to staff who are currently employed by the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies*, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004 as per Workplace Relations Commission agreement -161867
The post holder will report to the Section Officer, Grade VI or other nominated manager. The Social Inclusion Unit in CHO DNCC based in Ballymun seeks to provide equal access to health supports and services for people from vulnerable groups in the community including Traveller/Roma/Migrant/LGTBQI+/Addiction and Homelessness. It recognises the complexity of needs to said groups and part of the S.I Liaison Officer is to support, advocate, and develop individual care plans for clients you serve from social inclusion cohort. Links are to be built, maintained and strengthened within relevant local services, as a means of improving the health outcomes of these marginalised groups.
