Purpose of the Job:

To work in conjunction with other team members and other service providers in co-ordinating and developing the service to meet the needs of the service user group and the objectives of the organisation. The Senior Occupational Therapist – Mental Health will be responsible for the provision of a high quality Occupational Therapy Service.

The Senior Occupational Therapist – Mental Health will develop and maintain high standards of clinical practice within this area through clinical evaluation, audit and research opportunities.

The Senior Occupational Therapist – Mental Health will engage actively in clinical and educational duties as required and will evaluate the above described service.

The Senior Occupational Therapist – Mental Health will contribute to a structured process for education of senior and staff grade colleagues, undergraduates and other disciplines.
