Haus of Paws is a new pet grooming salon in Devon, PA. We are serving the main line and surrounding areas. We opened in late Fall ’22 and have grown rapidly. We know that pets are part of our families therefore we strive to make all our clients look and feel their best in a clean, stress-free environment, where they are loved and pampered. We are looking for our 4th dog groomer who is motivated, detail oriented individual, and comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. The candidate needs to be professional, passionate about their craft, and have at least one year of experience. This job will give the right candidate the opportunity to build a client list from all over the main line (Devon, Wayne, Radnor, Berwyn etc.) and surrounding areas. We solely use high end grooming products and groomers will have the support of bathers to help with their daily grooming appointments.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to perform different dog breed cuts
• Communicate with clients about their pet's haircut goals
• Bathe pets to remove dirt, bacteria, and odors
• Bathing and drying dogs to completion
• Maintain sanitation levels that adhere to pet grooming industry standards
• Help maintain a neat and clean salon
• Greeting all clients into the salon
• Performing check-in and check-out per appointment when needed
• Communicate well with customers
• Need to be organized and a mutli-tasker
• Be motivated, engerized, pro-active, and ready to work

Qualifications:

• Must have at least one year of experience.
• Knowledge of all dog breeds and their correspondent hair cut
• Safely be able to handle breeds of all sizes
• Lift dogs weighing 15-90 lbs
• Must have own equipment (scissors, clippers, and brushes)
• Able to commute to Devon, PA
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong communication skills
• Upbeat and positive personality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
