Overview:

Signalink, a rapidly growing small company, is currently seeking a Drafter to join the team as an integral member of a group of government, military, and contractor personnel that provide program, engineering, and technical support on a wide variety of projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop drawings utilizing the latest drawing standards to include ASME Y.14 and MIL-STD-31000.
• Carry out preliminary and detailed design work including 3D modeling, simulation and design, and development of 2D CAD drawings
• Ensure design compliance with appropriate drafting standards and/or specifications
• Ensure design files and information are kept up to date, and stored in accordance with procedures
• Responsible for reporting the progress of all assigned tasks to the project Engineering Lead
• Support physical configurations and component installation

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of related experience using Solidworks and/or AutoCAD
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance or higher
• US citizenship
• Up to 10% travel

Desired Qualifications:

• Solidworks Certification- CSWE or CSWP
• Experience with Army shelter systems
