Wage & Job info: $18/hr + gratuities! We are seeking a shuttle driver/house person for our early morning contract to the airport. The shift would be about 3:30 am - 9:00 am, 4 days a week. Weekend availability required.

This position requires that you are able to drive a company vehicle. Insurance requires the individual to be at least 25 years old with a valid driver license. We also require a completed Drug Screen.

The primary responsibility of the Driver is to transport guests, as assigned to and from, the airport and other destinations as requested while maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards. Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture at all times.

• Transport (60%): This position performs the daily and on-going transport of guests in our Shuttle Van.
  Perform all tasks in compliance with federal, state, local, food safety and sanitation requirements and Oxford Collection of hotels safety standards and security procedures. Be knowledgeable about and able to respond to emergency situations. Report any maintenance repairs needed immediately to their supervisor or General Manager.
• Guest Relations (30%): Extend warmth and hospitality when greeting guests at the hotel entrance, welcoming them to the hotel. Interact and acknowledge guests, provide directions and assistance. Escort guests to rooms, cart guest luggage to and from guestrooms, deliver guest supplies, flowers and packages to guestrooms. May transport guests (using company vehicle) to and from the airport and other locations. Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity when working with both internal and external guests.
• Other (10%): Outside maintenance of public areas includes picking up trash in the parking lot, cleaning ashtrays and policing the dumpster area; and maintaining the sanitation and cleanliness of the Oxford Collection of hotels van.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Hospitality / hotel work experience preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Driver’s License Required
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends and holidays
• Reliable and consistent attendance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and often exert up to 20 pounds of force to push, pull, carry, lift or otherwise move objects
• Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
• While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat)
• Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside and frequently lift 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
