Sir Lines-A-Lot provides pavement markings on roads and parking lots throughout Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin. Our company has recently grown to 100+ employees, and we are looking for a Pavement Marking Driver to join us on our Operations team. We have 4 locations – Edina, MN, St. Michael, MN, Maple Lake, MN and Eau Claire, WI. This position will be working out of our Edina office.

This role will be responsible for performing a wide variety of driving functions related to pavement marking activities at the direction of the foreman.

Benefits:

• Prevailing Wage pay ranging from $35-$55+ per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow directions of foreman for each specific project or job site.
• Maintain pavement marking equipment through ownership of striping truck.
• Deliver (load/unload) pavement marking material as directed by management.
• Paint long lines (highway).
• Lift, carry, load, and unload construction items including pavement marking supplies, safety cones, stencils, etc.
• Effectively communicate with crew members to ensure work is completed safely, timely, and of high quality.
• Perform and complete all work in compliance with DOT and quality guidelines, while maximizing production.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Overnight travel in hotels up to 50% of worked hours in season (hotels are paid for and per diem provided)
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License.
• CDL Required. Class A license preferred. Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• 3+ years of proven experience driving a commercial vehicle over 26,000 lbs GVWR.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Pavement Marking and/or Traffic Control experience desirable.
• Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
