Driver - Part Time

Seeking Drivers!!
The Driver provides transportation to persons served to and from their residences throughout Mankato, North Mankato, and Eagle Lake. Occasional travel outside of Mankato may be necessary in addition to deliveries of materials between locations.
Schedule: Monday - Friday Day/Evening Hours. Some occasional weekends and Holidays.
Wage: $ 15.00 per hour
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and assistance to individuals in a genuine and respectful manner while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Maintain cleanliness of the van and ensure safe working environments.
- Manage and complete with accuracy transportation paperwork such as user control log.
- Keep equipment operating properly by performing preventive maintenance and calling for repairs.
- Attend all staff meetings and complete all required training.
- Maintain HIPAA Compliance in all communications, whether written or verbal, both external and internal to HMC.
- Follows all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

What do we need from you?
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or general education degree. Prior experience or training is not required but is desirable. Most positions require a current driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with individuals, support teams, and co-workers.
- Must be self-motivated and exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills, able to problem solve and respond effectively to emergency situations.
- Must have a basic knowledge of technology programs. IE: Microsoft Office products. Be able to use and/or be willing to learn technology for daily charting.
- Must pass HMC van tie-down training
- Displays a positive attitude toward the job.
- Must work with colleagues and have the ability to work independently to carry out job duties as assigned.
- Pass an MN Department of Human Services Background Study.
- Pass driving record check by HMC insurance carrier.
