The Bennett Family of Companies is seeking a Driver Recruiter at our Corporate office located in McDonough, GA.

Overview:

Full time salaried position with bonus opportunity. Hours include Mon-Fri and weekend coverage. Utilization of telecommunication / computers and a knowledge based background of the transportation industry is required. Driving the recruiting van to different points across the country.

Duties:

Drive recruiting van to numerous events including Truck shows, job fairs, truck stops, and any events that might have potential recruiting opportunities.

Review submitted applications to ensure all candidates meet current established hiring requirements for the company.

Interact and assist the safety department with the processing of applications so an approved application can be obtained and an orientation class date may be set for the candidate.

Maintain constant follow-up communication with all contacts and applicants.

Assist candidates with filling out the online application for Bennett.

Participate in field recruiting events as established by the Director. This will include but is not limited to truck trade shows, hiring events and special needs.

Develop and maintain a data base for all contacts and applicants that can be presented upon request

Provide a weekly activities report to the Director.

• 
  Must possess at least 2 years experience in recruiting Class A tractor trailer drivers and owner operators in the transportation industry. Ability to consistently provide excellent service to potential and current Owner/ Operators

• This individual should be an extrovert with a strong communication style displayed both verbally and in written communications.

• Individual should be articulate in communicating detailed and complex subject matter as the scenario requires.

• Individual should have a “Sales Person” approach to their work as our fleet size is dependent on their ability to sell the key selling points of Bennett to the desired demographic.
