Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Driver’s license (Valid and insurable with our insurance carrier)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of successful background requirements
- Ability to lift 25 + lbs. and transfer individuals as needed.
- A caring heart and a desire to assist others
- Obtain and maintain all required certifications (all provided during your paid training)
Primary Job Duties:
- Schedule all medical appointments/procedures etc.
- Ensure recommended follow-up medical appointments are scheduled in a timely manner.
- Transportation to and from medical appointments/procedures etc.
- Assist with getting all medications needed as prescribed to the individuals' homes.
- Maintain documentation as required by licensure rules.
- Communicate with individuals and residential staff to learn of ongoing concerns that may need to be presented to the medical team
- Establish and maintain support/companionship with the individuals we serve
