OLT Trucking is based out of Upper Marlboro, MD and is seeking an experienced CDL driver to join our team. The Dump Truck Driver is responsible for safe operation of the vehicle while hauling loads to and from various locations. Work sites will be in the Washington DC and Maryland region.

Responsibilities:

• Check in with the Dispatcher each day to receive job assignments.
• Operate the truck and equipment in a proper and safe manner while hauling loads in to/from various locations
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
• Always be in or near your vehicle during the day unless a supervisor directs you otherwise.
• Fuel vehicle at the end of your work shift.
• Secure/lock all windows, doors, and compartments at the completion of the work shift.
• Report all accidents to the Safety Department.
• Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE), as required by the type of work, to include hardhat, safety-toed boots, safety glasses, and reflective safety clothing.

Requirements:

• Must have 1 year of experience driving a commercial vehicle.
• Must hold a valid CDL license.
• Must possess a current DOT Medical Examiners Certificate.
• Must be able to pass a DOT regulated alcohol and controlled substance screen.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the truck yard in Upper Marlboro, MD.
• Must be able to climb up and down from the vehicle.
• Must be able to lift and carry tools, equipment, or material up to a weight of 95 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, reach, climb, walk, and sit.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per week
