Pro Imprint a leader in e-commerce is looking for a motivated experienced Merchandiser with a promotional marketing or e-commerce background to join our team. This employee will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, establishing product pricing across 13 e-commerce websites.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years merchandising experience, strong negotiating skills, some one who is exceptional at multitasking while sticking to a strict delivery deadline. This role will report to the VP of Sales while having cross functional responsibility across multiple departments around the world. The perfect fit for this role is someone who takes direction well but is able to perform their duties with minimal supervision. This role will be able to communicate the company's vision across all departments as well as representing the company professionally at industry trade shows.
E-Commerce Merchandiser:
● Cultivate and maintain strong vendor relationships to effectively apply pricing agreements and remain updated on new product releases.
● Conduct negotiations with vendors to secure new special pricing offers and optimize cost savings.
● Collaborate with the catalog department to ensure product data accuracy and relevance.
● Stay abreast of product releases and trends, and communicate relevant information to the marketing and sales teams.
● Coordinate with the production team to stay up to date on vendor purchasing rules.
● Collaborate with the digital team to develop a competitive product strategy that will effectively position our offerings in the eCommerce promotional marketplace and support the overall product marketing strategy.
● Review product launches and provide direction to the site merchandising team regarding standards and aesthetics to enhance the customer experience.
● Analyze the site category structure to identify opportunities for improved product presentation.
● Stay informed on target audiences, their needs, and event calendars to plan product seasonality and optimize sales.
Minimal Requirements:
● Possess excellent mathematical skills with the ability to apply numerical reasoning to develop competitive yet profitable pricing structure.
● Demonstrate strong business communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
● Exhibit excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and translate data using tools such as Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with Airtable is a strong advantage.
● Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in eCommerce catalog management, with a proven track record of success in this field.
● Hold a Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience that reflects the necessary knowledge and skills required for the position.
● Possess strong interpersonal, collaboration, project leadership, and negotiation skills to effectively work with various stakeholders and drive successful outcomes.
BS/BA degree preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
