**ABOUT THE POSITION**
The eBay Outlet Specialist works to optimize the assessment, photography, posting, sale, fulfillment, and related ongoing customer support of opened, used, and overstock inventory. This position is intricate to our sales team, as the eBay Outlet Specialist is responsible for liquidating goodwill customer returns received in other than new conditions that cannot be returned to vendors for credit. Will also assist the Product Team with liquidating overstock inventory as needed Must follow and develop best practices to achieve a targeted level of profitability while maintaining optimal performance metrics on the eBay marketplace to ensure the ongoing success of our eBay Outlet store.

Develop, implement, and manage strategic plans to grow eBay Outlet Marketplace product sales while meeting established profitability objectives. Oversee all aspects of running day-to-day eBay Outlet store operations. Assure compliance with Hartville Hardware, eBay, and vendor policies. Achieve the average daily/weekly/monthly posting goals, sales goals and sell through goals as established by the Marketplace Product Manager. Add, update, and optimize eBay Outlet Marketplace product listings for completeness, accuracy, and presentation to maximize
exposure and value. Photograph each item with a digital camera or phone having as many pictures as reasonably necessary to depict the accuracy to online bidders. Utilize eBay’s Global Shipping Program where feasible and permitted. Monitor and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Ensure that all sold items are packed in accordance with best practices and shipped promptly. Support fellow teammates as needed to support daily sales activity. Additional duties as assigned.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**
Accountability is mainly to the Marketplace Product Manager.
Full time – Up to 45 hours a week during peak seasons, with a minimum of 40 hours, unless otherwise approved by the manager. As an intricate part of the online marketplace team, this position will be responsible for working with the other Product Specialist, to ensure the highest level of efficiency, which would require this person to be on-site collaborating 90% of the time. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient in Excel. Highly organized multi-tasker. Analytical thinker who can focus on details. Must check accuracy of work. Work well under pressure and deadlines. Strong financial aptitude. Self-motivated.

Experience with the world's largest online auction site is preferred
Minimum 2 year associate's degree preferred.
