The minimum salary is $15.707 per hour

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this position is to provide classroom and/or program support to at-risk adolescents in middle and high school at the Audrey Grevious Center.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of related experience
- Years of related education may substitute for years of related experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervises students during meals and snacks, assigned time-outs from the classroom, and during transitions between classes
- Assists in maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment; ensures compliance with policies, procedures and accreditation criteria.
- Observes and interacts with students in a therapeutic manner and provides information as appropriate to clinical and educational staff
- Transports students to and from school; performs vehicle safety inspections
- Performs related work as assigned
SPECIAL LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
- Valid Driver’s License
- First Aid and CPR Certifications must be obtained within first six (6) months of employment and maintained as a condition of continued employment
- Safe Crisis Management Certification must be obtained within first six (6) months of employment and maintained as a condition of continued employment
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
All positions require drug testing, background check, Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) check, and State and National sex offender registry checks before employment and may require a post-job offer physical.
