National Metering & Technical Services, LLC is seekinga Temporary Meter Reader for a full-time position in the Lewis County area. Previous meter reading experience is desired but not required. If you have meter reading experience please include it with your work history. Currently hiring for a position in Chehalis, WA.
Duties include safely reading and recording electric meter readings at residential, commercial and industrial sites; observing and reporting defective and damaged meters, unauthorized connections, broken seals, inaccessible meters and hazardous conditions; ensuring proper functioning of meters; completing daily review of meter reading validity; resolving customer complaints regarding high bills as well as customer concerns about meter reader behaviors; interacting with other utility departments to ensure consistency in interactions with customers. Candidate will be required to pass a background check, driver’s record review and a drug test. Previous meter reading experience is preferred. This is a union contract position.

Pay: From $28.71 per hour
